VOTE TRISHA BUTLER on 3 November 2020
Born to military parents, Trisha has lived many places but most of her youth was spent in Western Pennsylvania. Like many Clarksville residents, Trisha was brought to Clarksville by way of the US Army. She was assigned to Fort Campbell as her first duty station in 2004. She was reassigned to Fort Riley, Kansas when her unit, the 2-101st Aviation Battalion, moved there to build up the 1st Infantry Division Combat Aviation Brigade. Her military occupation was in supply and logistics. Trisha has served in three combat deployments, two in Iraq and one to Afghanistan, and has been awarded various medals and citations for these accomplishments.
Eric and Trisha met while serving together in Iraq and were married in 2011. Eric was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. They chose to put their roots down in Clarksville and have built their life, family and home here together. They have four bright and spunky children, three of whom currently attend CMCSS schools.
Trisha graduated with honors from culinary school. She attended American Military University during deployments and is currently a full-time student pursuing a degree in History at Austin Peay State University. She also currently works at Scoop Media Group and is actively involved our community.
On a fun note! Her hobbies include, poker, baking, video games, roller skating and arguing.
"I’ve lived in big cities and I grew up in the backwoods, but Clarksville is a city with a small town feel that makes it home."
